It’s time for another “A Day in My Life” post you guys–that last one was just a weekend bonus. You know even a pornstar’s life is not all glitz and glamour, though there is certainly a lot of that too!

Today I spent most of the day on the patio by the pool, working on my laptop. Nikky-Blond.com, as you know, is on vacation until July–so we’re in prep mode right now getting ready to return with all the new stuff!

I don’t just let the web team do their thing. I’m in control of so much more than you realize. I tell them what it’s about, what to write about it, etc. I tell them which screencaps to use, which thumbnails to use, which ones NOT to use, and when to use them!

Sometimes there’s a super hot screencap that I know should definitely be on top of the update. Sometimes there’s one where I blinked or it’s just at an awkward angle, and I’ve got to tell them, CUT!

Today was filled with a lot of that–writing captions for the site, directing the web team to the right shots and thumbnails, deciding which shoots make the site and which don’t, etc. I also responded to several fans on MySpace, though not nearly as many as I’d like to! So check your inboxes if you’ve written to me recently!

It got a little chilly out there towards the end of the night but the sky was so pretty I couldn’t bear to come in, so Renato brought me a big warm blanket to wrap up in while I continued working. Afterwards we jumped in the jacuzzi to warm up. Mmm… so nice.

It was a pretty good day altogether–I definitely got a lot done. We’re shooting some new scenes for the site tomorrow, so expect a hot update on that coming up soon–maybe even tomorrow.
